Three formats have been designed and established for interaction within the research team and the research team with other actors and organisations: Science Class, Transfer Class and Master Class.

The Science Classes takes place weekly on Mondays from 1 to 3 pm. Three approaches are taken in this format. Firstly, each member presents the latest developments and the current status of their research work, which is then discussed critically together. Secondly, external academics are invited at regular intervals to present their research in the form of lectures. Thirdly, key texts in communication studies are read and discussed together. The aim of this format is to accompany and support the academics in their research work.

The Transfer Classes takes place weekly on Fridays from 2 to 4 pm. Here, too, three approaches are envisaged. Firstly, the researchers present current developments in their transfer work, which are then discussed critically. Secondly, experts from the field are also invited here to present their organisations, work, projects and topics. The aim is above all to network researchers and develop career perspectives. Thirdly, key texts on the topic of transfer are distributed, read and discussed here in order to deepen and reflect on the topic of transfer in the team.

The Master Classes take place every six weeks, each lasting two to three days. Here, topics are jointly selected and external experts and speakers are invited, who then convey and deepen these topics in the form of workshops and seminars. The aim is to professionalise the researchers in various topics such as research theories, research ethics, research methods, digital research methods, science management, etc. in order to be prepared for a future career in sciencesystem.
