We are delighted to announce that our esteemed scholar, Dr. Hazrat Bahar, has been awarded a scholarship by the University.
Dr. Hazrat Bahar brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our program. He previously served as a faculty member at a journalism school at Shaikh Zayed University in Afghanistan and holds a Ph.D. in media and communication, along with a master’s degree in international relations. Currently, he is a postdoctoral research fellow at Leipzig University, with partial support from the Institute of International Education (IIE).
Dr. Bahar’s scholarly work encompasses the study of media and its effects in Afghanistan, with several of his publications featured in academic journals and media outlets. His research interests revolve around the impact of media, media systems, and political communication, culminating in his current project, “Media and ‘Public Space’ in Afghanistan: From Fragmentation to Fragility.”
