High-quality seminars are provided by Leipzig University for students studying communication science, journalism and social sciences. The seminars are aimed to both undergraduate and graduate students.

They focus on a range of topics, including communication systems in fragile states, the media system and public sphere in Afghanistan, and the use of social media by Islamic extremist groups. Leipzig University’s goal is to provide a comprehensive and engaging learning experience that will help students deepen their understanding of these important issues.

As part of our commitment to deepening media studies, we have hosted four seminars at Leipzig University, bringing new perspectives to German communication research. Topics ranged from theories of media transformation to participatory media in fragile contexts like Afghanistan. Through research and interactive discussions, students gained valuable insights into the role of media in shaping society.
